Welcome to this month's edition of our ezine. Keeping it Simple with Solomon is free training, educational newsletter for the Solomon Software community. Our newsletter is very different from the typical Microsoft Business Solutions (MBS) ezine. We focus on writing about hints, tips and tricks when using Solomon.

This month we are blending Solomon tips with general business tips. Our training articles include:  1) password security scheme 2) creating your own ezine newsletter, and 3) Creating an FRX Monthly trended P&L report.  Please take a moment to check out the articles of interest to you.

Besides sharing our thoughts with others for our newsletter we also have beefed up the content on our web site.  We are providing more and more information about the industries we serve and the product features which excel for users in these industries.   I encourage you to check it out, and give us your feedback.

From a personal note, I am going to reward myself with a 30 days vacation to Baja California.  My wife and I have a dream of building a second house there, and we wanted to spend some time checking it out during the summer months.   With only days until my vacation starts, it is hard to stay focused on finishing up tasks.  And, as you already well know, whenever you try to go away, Murphy’s Law seems to find you.  Wish us luck.  Better yet, wish my staff luck in holding things together.

With the long vacation, the next ezine will be published late summer, giving me time to recover from being out of the office.
