Welcome to our July 2004 ezine issue.  Vacations are behind us, and thank goodness for quality relaxation time.  Our focus is to provide hints, tips, and tricks for better use of Solomon IV.  We are big believers in the inherent flexibility of Solomon to solve accounting challenges of today and also challenges of tomorrow.  Please forward this ezine to others who can benefit from some of our great ideas.

We have compiled a pdf index of our 63 plus articles.  You can get this index at this address  http://www.systematicsol.com/Articles_index.htm

This can be a value tool to zero in on old hints and tips by specific subject area.

This month we focused on these topics:

1)    Simplifying your Solomon Menu structures

2)    Integrity Check feature in Solomon

3)    Customer Story about using Solomon’s flexibility

4)    Training Opportunities via the web and Systematic Solutions

5) Remote Support-- Your alternate source of help

It time to start planning for support to be stopped for version 5.0 of Solomon IV.  The official end for technical support is September 30, 2004 for version 5.0.  We encourage all users to migrate to version 5.5 of Solomon or higher.  Your accounting information is mission critical to your company.  Why put your company in a vulnerable situation where you are relying on the local knowledge of your reseller for a discontinued version of Solomon.  Many of our users already own licenses to version 5.5 of Solomon; and they just need to install the software and migrate your data.  For users of older versions of software which are not supported, consider re activating your support contract.  Give us a call if you need a quote or want to review your options.

Speaking of new versions of Solomon, it looks like we will be seeing version 6.0 in August.  (Looks like the release date of mid July slid out 30 days).   This is a major release for Solomon with many changes to the standard look and feel of the product.
